@Kevin: You are going nerdy! But I love it! Thanks for the heads up on entering meta data and what not.

Also, I won't be ending urbanidealist.com, just creating a new blog specifically to talk about and give info on our work in BCN

As such if your meta’s read like:

<meta name='description' content='Justin and Jen in Barcelon' />
<meta name='keywords' content='Justin,Jen,Powell,BCN,Barcelon,Spain' />

Then your domain could be something totally...sorry for spamming :-)

Hi Justin -

Just a bit of nerdery - but the spiders that index web pages and that are ultimately returned as result sets on search engines do not base their search matches on the url of the site, rather most of this comes from the content of the page combined with the contents of your sites tags.

As such if your meta's read like:

Then your domain could be something totally unrelated to the content of the page: e.g. urbanidealist and the search results for Justin or Jen or Barcelona would still hit on google or yahoo or MSN or whatever.

My two cents - let me know when it switches over so I can update the bookmarklets.

I'd agree with Mike. The longer versions are easier to read than the ones with the abbereviation.
