This is a beautiful depiction of a simple truth. Great insight into a children's show, but even greater insight into your call to follow Jesus - not some new book written about Jesus. Keep your mind clear, so says Paul in Romans 12:2: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

The bells, whistles, horns, and polish of the church can work to draw the attention of the people of whose life you may change through your ministry and the word of Christ. However it is lovely to me, knowing that God is not concerned with the dog-and-pony show created by man. The soul of the church lies within the hearts of the believers:

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
-- Matthew 18:20.
