I downloaded a program called Statcounter the other day. It keeps count of how many people visit my site and whatnot…
So tonight, I proudly told Jen that I’ve been having nearly 60 visits a day. She looks at me with a smile and says,
“And that’s a lot for you?”
I laughed, knowing that she has quite a few more visits a day than me…and, thanks to Statcounter, I also know that most of my visits are links from her page to mine. I was hanging out with some friends the other night and I asked one of our friends to go look at something on my page. Guess what she did…she went to http://allmyish.typepad.com and then scrolled down to the link to my blog to even find my page…no more needs to be said. Jen rules the blogwaves in the Powell house.

thats hilarious. at least your wife blogs. mine started and then quit and then started again to quit again. and it’s a pretty funny title to. not a lot of people know about “ish”.
Yeah, my wife gets to my blog via her blog. If you ask me that fluffs her numbers a little. I’m just saying.
Anyway, can you shoot me an email, I lost your email address and I had a quick question regarding voip phones.
If it makes you feel any better I have BOTH you and Jen’s blogs bookmarked in my faves…no going back and forth between you two for me! But I do usually check hers out before yours-sorry
thanks for the solace everybody!
Nick…this does pad Jen’s stats too
Josh…my wife certainly does have ish
Amy…looking forward to seeing you and I appreciate the bookmark, even if you click it last!
Justin,
I found your blog while reading your Dad’s, then I found Jen’s while reading yours.
Justin, if it makes you feel any better, I only have yours bookmarked and get to Jen’s through yours. As someone who averages 3 hits a day on my blog, you should be blessed. Not that you have so many hits but that so many people care about your lives, how you are able to impact people, and how God is using you and people want to see what God is doing. It’s a testimony to all the people God has placed in your life and and all that He is accomplishing through you. In the end, that is all that matters. And if people can find God through a story in Paris, a father’s view of his daughter, or some music or a book or an article that you share, then feel blessed at how much God is using you even when you are often on the other side of the world.
